Raymond is survived by his wife Christine of 33 years, they met in 1989 and married in 1990, bringing together both of their families and children, he will be forever loved and cherished.
He will be missed by his children Hilary (Robin), Alison (Randy), and Samantha, as well as his stepchildren Kerry (Daryl), Paul (Fran) and Shaun (Tammy). He leaves behind his 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and all his in-laws over in England. He will also be missed by his sister Gail, and his nieces and nephews.
For those that knew him, knew that he could be a stubborn individual with a hard exterior. But underneath all of that he was funny, sarcastic and caring person. He deeply loved and cared for his family. He bonded with family over sports, especially hockey and tennis, and often made jokes about if the Leafs would win the Stanley Cup or not. He has joined his friend Peter in another world free of pain and hospitals, where he will await the rest of his loved ones.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St, N, Guelph. As per Raymond's wishes, cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can be made online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
