PORTERFIELD, Robert Donald-- D.D.S. - Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2009. Donald Porterfield, in his 87th year, was the beloved husband of Margaret. He was the dear father of D. Fraser (Darlene), Glenn (Jacqueline), Craig (Sharon), and Karen Simpson (Kim Russell). Donald is fondly remembered by grandchildren Darryl (Lisa), Jennifer, and Ian Porterfield, Patrick and Christine Porterfield, and Cory (Candy), Meghan, Hayley, and Colleen Simpson, and by one great-granddaughter Celina Porterfield. Private cremation has taken place with interment of ashes in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. A Memorial Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church 99 Woolwich St., Guelph, on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2 p.m with the Rev. Hollis Hiscock officiating.
