Rosa Longo (nee Prestipino)

Rosa now rejoins her beloved husband of 67 years Antonio Longo in the care of Our Lord. She was the cherished mother of Carmelina (Caesar) Misiti, Vincent, Florence (Mike) DeAbreu and Nancy (Gary) Grazziotto. Rosa was the devoted Nonna of Domenica Misiti, Rosanne Misiti, John (Josie) Misiti, Alyssa (Brian) Pichna, Adam DeAbreu (Samantha), Brandon Grazziotto and Alaina Grazziotto, and the Bisnonna of Lily, George, Rose, Mia, Luca, Bianca and Anthony. Sister to Lina Paolillo and Salvatore Prestipino. Predeceased by her brother Joe Prestipino, brother-in-law Joe Paolillo, brother-in-law Salvatore Limina and sisters-in-law Fortunata Limina and Janet Prestipino.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Fr. Valentine for his support and prayers and to the ladies from the Legion of Mary - St. John's Church, as well to all her home caregivers for the compassionate care and support they provided.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert Macintyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Rosa will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:30 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
