Sarah Williamina Billings

Billings, Sarah W. (nee Weiler)-- Peacefully, with her family at her side, Sarah W. Billings, in her 98th year, was the beloved wife of the late Cecil Billings (1966). She was the dear mother of Douglas (Shirley) ( nee Prior) Billings of Arthur. Sarah was the dear sister of Teckla (Joe) Simonato, mother-in-law of Ken Graham, and a dear friend of Lucy Prior, all of Guelph. Sarah is fondly remembered by five grandchildren Gayle (Sandy) Rogers of Guelph, Randy (Donna) Graham of Cambridge, Wayne "Spanky" (Mardi) Billings of Fergus, John "Bear" Billings of Arthur, and Don "Toby" (Charlene) Billings of Fergus. Cherished grandmother of nine great-grandchildren, Ryan and Breanna Graham, Nathan, Brandon, Alaina, Brandon, Jessica and Curtis Billings, and Kelly Rogers. Sarah will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her daughter Eileen and by her siblings, Mabel Weiler, Laura Friedman, Ann Green, Catherine Weiler, Alfred Weiler, Gertrude Friedman, Mary Billings and George Weiler. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph where the family will receive friends on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
