Sheila Rose Stanton Timson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Rose Timson, February 7th, 2022, at the age of 85. She passed away peacefully at the Village of Riverside Glen, surrounded by family members.

Loving wife to the late Edmund Timson (d. 2019) whom she had been married to since 1957.

Beloved mother to Christopher Timson (wife Julia) of Rexdale, Keira Evans (husband David) of London, Susan Calvert (husband Mark) of Guelph, Ruth Bell of Guelph, and Pauline Cuthbertson (husband Jim) of Brampton.

Cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 7.

Dear sister of Peter Stanton and predeceased by brothers Brian, Denis, and Michael.

She will be fondly remembered and missed by all friends and extended family. She was an active member in her church and loved spending time with her many grand and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, February 10th, 2022 from 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass to take place at The Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate Friday, February 11th, 2022 at 10am. The family asks those wishing to attend the visitation or the funeral mass to be fully vaccinated, wear a mask and socially distance.
