Shirley Drexler

DREXLER, Shirley Marie Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, August 31st, 2013 at the Hospice Wellington, Guelph in her 87th year. She had an unwavering faith in God. Born Shirley Marie Bolton on November 20th, 1926. She is predeceased by her loving husband Alfred Joseph Drexler (October 2011). Loving mother to Charles (Jeanette), David (Ruth), Alfred (Ingrid), Jerome (Pat), Robert (Lorna), Kevin (Christine), Pam (Mike Chapman), Peter (Linda), Cathy (Tony Iacocca), Therese (Robert Dennique), Laurie (Jeff Jadeski), Martin (Belinda) and Paula (Craig Richardson). Grandmother to 43 loving grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by one brother Tom (Lorraine) Bolton. Shirley was predeceased by two daughters-in-law; Anne and Jacqueline and by her grandson Christopher Drexler, also by two brothers; Robert and Donald Bolton and one sister Isabel Ralston. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Shirley with her family during visitation at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, N1G 4X9 on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil prayer for Shirley will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Church of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
