

The family of Theodosia “Tasha” RN, wishes to announce her peaceful passing on September 22, 2015, surrounded by the love of her family, in the comfort and care of Hospice Wellington. Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton. Tasha is survived by her brother Thomas and sister-in-law Cecelia. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families; Susan, Andrew, Darryl (Catherine), Valerie (Damith), Mary Beth, Mike, Dana (Paul), Ryan, Martina, Mark, Tyler, Bruce, Dawn, Nicole, Erin, Blair, Alan and Eric. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas Sr. and Helena, siblings Martin, Sister Ruth (Sister of Charity), Francis and Audrey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, 519-821-5077. Tasha’s wishes for cremation have taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Parish, 175 Emma St., on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This has been a difficult journey for Tasha and our family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful and extensive medical care she received over many years which includes Dr. Naidoo, Dr. Somerville, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Chan, Dr. Dyck, Dr. Nasir, and most recently Dr. Dore, Dr. Burke and Dr. Robinson who displayed such compassion. To the staff of the Dialysis units at Grand River and Guelph General, the many Emergency visits and stays at both Grand River and the Guelph General, thank you. CCAC for your daily visits and care (especially Steve, Angela, Catherine and Raymond), thank you. VON volunteers and Derek from Guelph Lake Commons for your many drives, thank you. To Father Boyd for his prayers and anointment which brought great comfort, thank you. Finally, and with the utmost respect to each of the remarkable Nurses, PSW's, welcoming residence and community level staff, Director of Care, every volunteer and TT practitioner at Hospice Wellington for your unmatched care, gentleness, and professionalism, our family is forever grateful for the privilege of this stay. If you wish, in remembrance of Tasha, donations may be made to Hospice Wellington, with gratitude from our family.
