Ted Fischer

Fischer, Edward Harold (Ted) -- Veteran of the Korean War, and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 234. Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2013. Ted Fischer age 82 years, was the beloved husband of Joan ( Parkes) Fischer. He was the loving father of Edward (Jennifer), Sandra Rogina (Lloyd) of Regina SK, Robert (Joanne), Joseph, and the late Paul (1987), Thomas and his son Blake (2003), and Michael (2013). Ted was the dear father-in-law of Lisa Wuohela. He was the proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Ted was the dear brother of Jack Fischer and his wife Theresa, Carol and her husband Alex Goll, and Monica Longo. Survived by nieces and nephews. Ted will be missed by his faithful dog Bouncer. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. A Vigil for Ted will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. John's Church 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
