Teresa Marguerita Zanardo

After almost 102 years of being loved and loving those in her life, we are sad to announce that Teresa Marguerita Zanardo (née Scroccaro) passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Teresa held a special place in many hearts: loving wife of the late Angelo Zanardo; cherished mother of the late Luigino (Lou) Zanardo (survived by Sharron Zanardo), Anna Zanardo, and Linda Zanardo (Michael O’Connor).

Beloved Nonna to James Zanardo, Michael (Mickey) Zanardo (Catherine O’Brien), Cody Zanardo (Nicole Krueger), Thomas O’Connor (Kayleigh O’Connor), Daniel O’Connor and Elena O’Connor. Beloved Bisnonna to Owen and Kevin Zanardo, Aidan and Addie O’Brien, and Tommy O’Connor Bowie.

Sister to the late Angela Zago (deceased, Giovanni Zago), the late Angelo Scroccaro (survived by Mary Scroccaro), Rachele (Kay) Manera (deceased, Duilio Manera), the late Vincent Scroccaro (survived by Shirley Wheeler McCann) and Maria Dal Bello (deceased, Fortunato (Berto) Dal Bello). Sister-in-law to the late Ferdinando (Beppi) Zanardo(deceased, Luigia (Germana) Zanardo).

Sister-in-law to the late Ricardo Zanardo (deceased, Elda Zanardo), the late Linda Rossi (deceased, Aldo Rossi), the late Bruno Zanardo (deceased, Stella Zanardo), the late Romeo Zanardo (deceased, Libera Zanardo), and Maria Galante (Luigi Galante), all of Italy.

She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins here and in Italy.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, where the family will receive their friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Dublin Fellowship Lounge. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donation cards are
