Tomasz Zagozdzinski

Born on January 11, 1951, in Poland, Tomasz lived a life marked by integrity, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones. In 1988, he immigrated to Canada with the hope of building a better life for his family—an act of courage and love that defined much of who he was.

Tomasz was a devoted husband to Lila, a proud father to Martin and Katie (Dan Williams), and a deeply cherished Dziadek (grandfather) to Samantha, Alyssa, Rose, and Charlotte. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Marek and family, his sister Maryla and family in Poland, sister-in-law Teresa and family and many extended family members and friends across Poland, the United States, and Canada.

He was a man of principle—honest, humble, and dedicated to those he loved. Tomasz’s life was also marked by his commitment to freedom and justice, recognized in December 2023 when he was awarded the Cross of Freedom and Solidarity for his contributions.

A Funeral Mass for Tomasz will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church (98 Alice St. Guelph) Cremation to follow.

Tomasz leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will always be remembered in our hearts and missed deeply.
