Tony Adrian Maria Rooyakkers

ROOYAKKERS, Tony Adrian Maria - Peacefully, at home, with family by his side, on Sunday, August 9, 2009. Tony Rooyakkers, in his 59th year, was the beloved husband for 30 years of Joan (Albl) Rooyakkers of Puslinch. He was the loving father of Sarah and her husband James David (J.D.) Green, and the proud grandfather of Anthony. Tony was the beloved son of Jean (Van de Ven) Rooyakkers and the late Harry Rooyakkers. He was the dear brother of Jane and her husband Chuck Cater, Geraldine and her husband Bill Copeland, Adrian Rooyakkers, Helen and her husband Randy Conway, Harry Rooyakkers and his fiancée Cynthia Hill, and Ann and her husband Scott Thomson. Tony was the beloved son-in-law of Alex and Ethel Albl. He is survived also by many nieces and nephews. Tony was a longtime employee with Owens Corning in Guelph. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 12 noon - 3 p.m., followed by a reception in the funeral home fellowship lounge.
