Violetta Rose Douglas

Douglas, Violetta Rose - Passed away suddenly at her residence, on Thursday February 11, 2010, in her 79th year. Violetta was the loving mother of Charlene Douglas (Jim), Dennis Douglas (Pauline), Brian Douglas, Paul Douglas (Patti), Thomas Douglas (Karen), Cheryl Douglas and Colleen Douglas, adoring grand mother of Phillip, Ashley, Courtney, Janessa, Tara, Natalie, Brittany, Kayla, Brennan, Meghan and Carter. Violetta was predeceased by her parents Luigi and Rosa Contini, survived by her brothers Victor Contini (Geraldine), Louis Contini (Tilda), predeceased by brothers Mario, Joe, Anthony and Rocco Contini, and sisters Mary Fantinato (Isadoro) and Susie Bortolotto, and survived by sisters-in-law Verna and Ruth Contini and brother-in-law Fred Bortolotto. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, "Hart Chapel", 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Monday February 15, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A vigil will be held at the funeral home, Monday at 7p.m. A Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday February 16, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice Street, Guelph, at 11 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery.
