Virginia Thompson

Virginia passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Lisaard House, Cambridge, at the age of 68. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland J. Thompson (1999). Loving mother of Cathy (Alan Brown), Jennifer (Rick Slade), and Julie (Stephen Borghese). Devoted and loving grandmother to Andrew, Nicole, Benjamin, John, Simon, Liam, Nolan, and Ewan. Cherished daughter of Giselle and the late Roy Carroll. Dear sister of Nancy (William Lambert) and sister-in-law of Marianna (David Huckla), Mary (Norm Cooke), Robert (Dawn), and Allan. She will be greatly missed by all those lives she has touched. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
