She was the daughter of Norma Iris Morales and Miguel Angel Huertas (deceased). She was preceded in death by her grandparents Francisca and Valentin Morales. Alma is survived by her children; Xavier, Yesenia, and Karina and her grandchildren; Xavier, Patrick, and Ziomara. She is also survived by her brothers, Miguel Huertas, Gelacio Huertas, Jorge Huertas, Christian Huertas, and Serge Sicard III.
Alma also maintained a meaningful connection to the community through the Puerto Rican Society.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. Interment at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
