Alton A. Kennedy

Alton Ann (nee Paparigian) Kennedy, of Wadsworth, passed away on May 21, 2013 at Rolling Hills Manor. Ann was born on December 24, 1930 in Waukegan, Illinois to Abraham and Vartouhi Paparigian. She had a career in Civil Service for 36 years, most of that time with the U.S. Navy. She loved to travel and was an avid Bridge player, but loved being with her family and grandchildren more than anything. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Sarkis Samuel Paparigian of Fresno, CA; her daughter, Valeri (Kennedy) White; and grandson, Evan White of Roswell, GA. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann (Kennedy) Grosskopf and granddaughters, Lauren and Bryn Grosskopf of Wadsworth; grandson, David A. White of New York; and brother, Garabed Charles Paparigian of Chicago. Family and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home located at 305 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. There will be a visitation at 8:30 a.m. and funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Patrick's Church, 15000 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, IL, with a private interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
