Uca, Millie and Family,  I am was so saddened to hear about Celi and your loss. I have many sweet memories of her growing up. She had a great smile and laugh. The world will truly miss her.  I will keep you all in my prayers for strength and peace. 

May the peace that comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.

I was totally shocked when I found out that Dear Celi had passed away. My Sincere Condolences to her family. I had the privilege of working with Celi a few years at Abbott Labs. She will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace Celi.

My deepest condolences to the Santiago and Rivera families. Celi's smile could light up a room and she made me laugh many times all through school.

My heart aches for Mrs. Rivera, Millie, Justin, Izzy, Alex and all of Celi's friends and family.  I am deeply sorry for your loss.  

I had the pleasure of knowing Celi since childhood.  Our lives took us on different paths but she remained in my thoughts often and in my heart.  Her passing has hit me hard, I will always remember her beautiful smile, her love for family, her great car and her work ethic.  My regret is that I did not keep in contact with her.  

I do hope you find peace soon, comfort from God, and remember the wonderful times.  Celi has left this planet far too soon.

we share a common loss, yet, we honor the will of GOD who graced us with celi for 49  blessed years. She was a  lesson to the world on how to do things right, how to be a strong single Independent mother, who  nurtured and provided for her 3 boys  unselfishly  , how to appreciate and live  life to the fullest regardless of the challenges one faces in life. A  warrior who would re- define the word Courage, Braving  the elements she was given, never losing hope  surrounded and supported by her family and dear Mother Uca- who she loved unconditionally. She had a infectious personality that drew you to her. Although time may heal all wounds, We know she revels with our lord and all those loved-ones who departed before her singing and dancing his praises. Celi loved sports and was very active in her boys Wrestling life. Wither it be driving to practice or meet, chaperoning  others young teens or  offering her time and energy. she always volunteered unselfishly never complaining and never letting her illness dictate or control her will and determination to play a active role in the lives ofher sons Alex,Justin and Isreal. She was bestowed the honor of the worlds greatest cheerleader and respected by the many young teens she touched and  who she often mentored and offered  her advice in hopes that the words of her wisdom she shared, would resonate and lead them into there adult years.  . Celi was feisty as she was frank. . She embodied all the attributes of a warrior and would fight her illness to the end. Unfortunately, in its finality, she succumb to her illness that eventually took her life . But you see, this Illness she suffered  is so limited, for you see, this illness cannot cripple the love she has for  her 3 boys and  other loved-ones who loved-her unconditionally. This Illness will not  and cannot erase the cherished memories she  created, that will endure for ever and will be shared  the generations that follow.  This Illness cannot corrode or manipulate our faith in understanding that Celi has earned her wings and now is an Angel enjoying the fruits of her spirit, and walking in love in his holy name. This Illness cannot kill the many friendships' she established through-out her years or make attempt to confuse  our thoughts and  just resolve by asking  why?,  Instead , we will smile , look to the stars and say why not? And finally this disease will not lower our spirit and perseverance to understand that Celi did not die in vain instead, she transistioned,a dignified woman who provided for her family, community, church and country. For celi she saw people for who they were, no creed,no color, no ethnicity- just a will to offer a helping hand and so she did. A natural many will say and a  shining   example of the life she led....
 
As we think of celi, we also have to think about the greatest possibilities that will never be, we think about the Holidays that will  never be shared, the Grandchildren she will never hold or nurture, the birthday  candles that will never be lit and the Milestones in her children's life  she will miss.The trials we have endured  and suffer today, will give us strength, as sorrow gives us understanding and wisdom.

Uca, Millie and family, Frankie and I were in shock when we heard about Celi. We had no idea she was ill, being out of the area you miss out on news. We are very sadden and our hearts ache for all of you. We have wonderful memories of her growing up. She was always close to daddy and now she has gone to be near him. May God's loving presence comfort you,and
his perfect peace restore you, during this time of loss.

To my Great-nephews, Alex, Justin and Isreal, Uca and Millie and family, my deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of Celi.  I pray that God cover you with his love and strength during this very hard time in your life.  I chatted a lot with Celi during her illness and tried hard to uplift her.  she always told me she loved my posts I would put on Facebook, they would help her greatly.  She was a great mom, daughter, sister and aunt and I feel her loss greatly, knowing that she lost this fight.  She was a fighter and she gave it all she could.  God has her in his arm now and she is now your angel, watching over you until the day you meet her again.  God bless you and I send you all my love and prayers.
