

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janet Quint Sine and four children, Andrew Sine Jr. (Katherine) of Muskego, WI, Richard Sine of Mankato MN, stepdaughter Lori Quint Dempsey (Michael) of Chicago and stepson Kenyon Quint of Desert Hot Springs, CA, and granddaughters Melanie Sine of Island Lake, IL, and Alexis Dempsey of Chicago, IL as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Henry “Hank” Sine in 2010.
Born in Waukegan IL in 1937, Andy attended Waukegan High School. Joining the Marine Corp in 1959, Andy served in Vietnam, doing three tours of duty before returning to the States. Receiving his Honorable discharge following 17 years of service, he moved with his family to Mankato, MN where he worked various jobs. In 1982 he moved to Waukegan, IL. He worked as a Police Officer for the Great Lakes NTC Police Department, a Police Dispatcher for the Park City, IL Police Department and pursued a career in private security, finally retiring in 2016.
Among Andy’s many hobbies were spending time with his friends, tinkering with electronics, computers, and fishing.
