Ann Stapleton was born January 23,1936 in Waukegan, IL. Ann is survived by her Daughters Frances Fiesel, and Christy Fiesel. Grandchildren Charles (Angie) Moore, of West Virginia and Robert Moore, of Texas. Great Grandchildren Caitlyn, Colton, and Megan. And many Nieces and Nephews.

She worked for Ammco Tools in North Chicago for 32 yrs as a Inspector, and Recording Secretary. After retirement, she owned The Cottage Lounge in Waukegan, where she spent many years enjoying interacting with it's patrons. She was also a lifetime member of The American Legion Post 281,Waukegan, and F.R.A. VFW Post 7448 Ladies Auxiliary, Winthrop Harbor. She enjoyed doing volunteer work with the Salvation Army, and was known by many as "The Candy Grandma".

Being the selfless person that she was, she found much of her enjoyment by giving to others. She will truly be missed... by many.

Preceded in death by Husband, Fred Stapleton. Parents Joseph and Margaret Selzer. Siblings Joseph Jr, Pete, Richard, Gertrude, Agnes, and Daughter Jinx Ann Moore.

Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd in Gurnee, IL on Wednesday January 9, 2018 from 4-8pm.

Dearest Franny, Chrissy and Family

My deepest sympathy and love for you and your family. I will always remember Aunt Annie as a loving, caring, and sharing person. Whenever I saw her, she always had something to give away to those in need. I shall always remember her in my heart as one of my most favorite aunts. I love you, Aunt Annie!
