Anna attended Bradford High School, and met her husband at the Zion Park Roller Rink. They were married on August 2nd, 1952 at St. Barts in Waukegan.
Beloved wife of Leonard Krapf for 68 years. Loving mom of Debbie (George) Rodriguez, Diane (Dave) McCleary, Sharon (Don) Jenkins, and Sandra Krapf. Dear Grandmother of Julia (Scott Lucadello) Martin and George Rodriguez. Great-Grandmother of one. Step-Grandmother of 4, and Step-Great-Grandmother of 9.
Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Madeline Knapp; her sister Barbara Miller; and her son-in-law Mark Earley.
Anna was a member of many clubs including the Wanderer’s Skating Club, and Zion-Benton WOTM Chapter 859.
She will be remembered for her enjoyment of line dancing at the Sundance Saloon, playing pinochle and canasta, going to craft fairs, gardening, cooking and baking for her family and friends throughout the years.
Anna was an avid bowler for 60 years and loved to travel. Especially to Missouri – but she traveled all over the U.S. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private service will be held for the family. Anna will be laid to rest at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date for the public.
