Bienvenido Crisostomo Balay, 59, of Gurnee, IL passed away June 2, 2010 at home. He was born December 8, 1950 in Mabolo Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. Bienvenido was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Diana Rodriguez Balay; daughter; Amelia Balay (Matthew) Wray; granddaughter, Isabella Balay Wray; siblings; Danny (Devi) Rodriguez, Darlene (Archie) Mangalindan, Dennis (Karen) Rodriguez, During Rodriguez (Claudia Santoro), Marc (Inso) Balay, Rolando (Belinda) Balay, Corazon Lalic, Arsenia (Nelson) de la Cruz, Jesse (Deborah) Balay and Gerry Balay. Visitation will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 from 4 to 7pm at Marsh Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, from 9 until time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd. Gurnee, IL. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association in memory of Bienvenido C. Balay.
