Carlos E Rogel

Carlos Enrique Rogel was a true angel on Earth who was called to Heaven on Friday, February 21, 2025 while surrounded by his family. Carlos was the epitome of love and kindness; to know him was to love him. Carlos made a significant first impression on everyone he met. He lit up every room he entered with his joyous smile, witty humor and infectious personality. Carlos had passion for music, graduating from Columbia College of Chicago with a Bachelors in Music. He enjoyed skateboarding, comics, and the cinema. He shared a deep and profound love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Erin Taylor, and his beloved siblings, Dante (Evelyn Corona) Rogel and Odalis Rogel. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Carlos and Adela Rogel.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Funeral mass will occur Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Most Blessed Trinity Parish; Holy Family Catholic Church, 450 Keller Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085. Interment at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
