Carol Lynn Murphy of Wadsworth died Saturday, December 11, 2010. She was 68. Carol was born November 22, 1942 in Highland Park. She died on the farm she had loved since she was 12 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Behrens of Wadsworth. She is survived by the daughter of her marriage to Robert Murphy, Kendra Murphy Robinson, son-in-law Jay Robinson, and their daughter Elliot, of Chicago. Also surviving her are her sister Barbara Connell (Mark) of Tucson and nieces Kathy Connell of Eugene Oregon and Laurel Connell-Smith of San Francisco. Next to her love for her family, Carol's greatest enthusiasm was in caring for her extended animal family of horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. A memorial service will be held Thursday December 16, 2010 at 7pm at Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee, with visitation starting at 6:00pm.
