Cassandria S. Elliott

GRAYSLAKE – Cassandria Sue Elliott, age 60, of Grayslake, IL, passed from this world into the loving embrace of the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Cassandria received the prayers of her family near and far as she fought her final battle with complications arising from Type I diabetes, and was surrounded by the love and light of her family at the time of her passing.

Cassandria was born November 14, 1960 in the small town of Cambridge, OH. Shortly after completing high school, she set out for Chicago and has made it her home . Cassandria’s family and friends will continue to celebrate her memory and spirit in the enjoyment of the memories, crafts, and projects she created through the years. Cassandria is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tim Elliott, her children, Charlie Elliott and Chelsea Hartman, her mother, Pauline Sarchet, her brother, Dennis Sarchet, and many other extended family members who will remember her fondly. Cassandria is preceded in death by her father, Frank Sarchet (2013), and her niece, Stephanie Riley (2006).

A memorial viewing will be held Thursday, May 20th, 2021, from 4-8pm at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL. Cassandria will be laid to rest in her hometown of Cambridge, OH, with a private service and burial held with the family later this week.
