Colleen E. Ormond, 25, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Nov. 11, 2010, in Gurnee, IL. She is survived by her parents Dan and Joyce Ormond; and her sister Erin Ormond. Colleen is missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Daniel and Margaret Ormond and Brice and Helen Gordon; her cousin Danny and her uncle Pfc. Dennis Ormond. Colleen was born Jan. 8, 1985, with special needs. She is a graduate of Laremont School, Gages Lake, IL. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Village Church of Gurnee, 1319 N Hunt Club Road. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Service at 11 a.m. and interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, 33100 N. Hunt Club Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Katibug and Friends, NIT, a foundation serving families with medically and physically fragile children.
