Julie, you had a great partner in life.  I never met him in person but always felt I had known him all my life.  I was always disappointed when he was not at work because I knew he looked after his customer's.  May your family be assured that Dave will never be forgotten. I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing.  I first met him when he made a sales call here at Universal Strap.  I had just started here after the company I had worked at for 32 yrs closed and I was lost in all the new parts of a commodity I'd never purchased before.  Dave helped me navigate my way through all those bewildering new buckles and rings and over the years became a friend as well as my business associate.  He was always cheerful and upbeat in spite of all he was dealing with.  He was a great guy and I will miss him.

We are very sorry to hear of your loss.  Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.  Dave was such a strong man, when I think of him the first thing that comes to mind is the smile that was always on his face.  This will live on forever in my thoughts as I am sure it will many others.  Stay strong during this difficult time.

On behalf of my wife,Irene, I want to express our deepest condolences to you all.  We loved Dave at Granat Industries.  Come to think of it, who didn't love Dave?  He was the first person I ever hired back in 1984, and he remains the best.  We worked together 29 years!  He was a kick-butt warehouse worker, and became an outstanding salesman.  Best of all, he made work fun.  Dave's happy demeanor and fighting spirit never ceased to amaze me.  Unless you "knew," you would NEVER know he was battling cancer, pain, etc.  Dave never "milked" his struggles for sympathy.  I will always admire him.  He was in a class by himself.  Thanks for sharing him with us all.

I have had the distinct pleasure to have known Dave nearly my whole life. He was such a pleasure to be around. He always lit up a room when he walked in with that smile and his quick wit humor.  I had the pleasure to meet Dave in grade school and work with him at Tastee Freeze and to become part of my family although I have not spoken to him in awhile since life takes it turns we have always ben connected from as would say six degrees to seperation with family and friends of a friend and Dave had lots of Friends. My heart aches to Julie and her kids and the entire Stressler Family in this difficult time. I know David is no longer in pain and is with the Lord. I only knew Dave through his work, but in the several times per month (over 6 years) that I got to interact with him, he demonstrated the depth of his character and his willingness to work hard.  It was a privilege to have gotten to know him, even in this limited capacity.  We're all praying for his whole family and those lucky enough to know him in a deep way.

Dave was always able to bring a smile to someone's face.  Although it is difficult to smile now, we can, because we have years of great memories. Focus on those memories.
