Dorothy J. Ogilvie

Dorothy June Ogilvie, 93, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away on September 27, 2015 in Waukegan. She was born on August 22, 1922 to Benjamin and Julia Williams in Waukegan. Dorothy was a faithful member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Zion, IL. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, George Ogilvie; three children, Judith (Jack) Harper, Janet (the late John) Deutsch, Debra (Bruce) Hankey; 7 grandchildren, Vicki (Mark) Benke, Margie (Bruce) Schwarz, Capt. Jaclyn Deutsch USAF, John Jay (Ivette) Deutsch II; Eric (Michelle) Lambert, Kaitlyn Hankey and Brian Hankey; 8 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Vincent. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Carol (Harold) Lambert; and two sisters, Sarah Sitz, and Ida Mae Corey.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10 am with a funeral starting at 11am at Memorial United Methodist Church, 2935 Sheridan Rd. Zion, Illinois 60099. Interment at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago, Illinois. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church.
