Edgar Roberto Salazar Cruz

Roberto was a man of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and deep compassion. Through his example, he taught us that true greatness is found in faith, humility, honest work, and unconditional love. His life was a reflection of the principles he faithfully lived and never ceased to teach.

The love of his life was his wife, Lucrecia Salazar. He cherished her, honored her, and loved her with all his heart until his very last breath. Even during his most difficult moments, his greatest concern was knowing that she would be okay. That same love embraced his children, his granddaughters, and his entire family, all of whom were blessed with the privilege of learning from his example each day.

He was always willing to serve, to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and to lead by example. In his home, in the Church, at work, and among his friends, he left an unforgettable legacy, uplifting those around him and leaving every place better than he found it.

Even in his final moments, his faith remained steadfast. His last words were a prayer to God the purest testimony of the faith that sustained him throughout his life.

Although our hearts deeply mourn his absence today, we find peace in knowing that this is not a final goodbye, but a temporary separation. His legacy is not found in the things he left behind, but in the lives he shaped, the love he planted, and the faith he taught us to live.

The love of his life, Lucrecia Salazar, together with his children, Pablo Salazar, Francisco Salazar, and María Lucrecia Salazar, along with his beloved granddaughters, Betzy, Leena, and Olivia, will continue to honor his memory with the same love, the same faith, and the same values that he instilled in each of them.

We will love you forever, Tata, until our Heavenly Father allows us to be together again.

En memoria de nuestro querido Roberto Salazar

Con profundo pesar honramos y despedimos a Roberto Salazar, el amado esposo de nuestra querida madre, un padre ejemplar, abuelo amoroso y el corazón de nuestra familia.

Roberto fue un hombre de fe inquebrantable, fortaleza serena y profunda compasión. Nos enseñó, con su ejemplo, que la verdadera grandeza se encuentra en la fe, la humildad, el trabajo digno y el amor incondicional. Su vida fue un reflejo de los principios que nunca dejó de vivir ni de enseñar.

El gran amor de su vida fue su esposa, Lucrecia Salazar. La cuidó, la honró y la amó con todo su corazón hasta el último instante de su vida. Incluso en sus momentos más difíciles, su mayor preocupación era saber que ella estaría bien. Ese mismo amor abrazó a sus hijos, a sus nietas y a toda su familia, quienes tuvimos el privilegio de aprender de su ejemplo cada día.

Siempre estuvo dispuesto a servir, a tender la mano a quien lo necesitara y a guiar con el ejemplo. En su hogar, en la Iglesia, en el trabajo y entre sus amigos dejó una huella imborrable, elevando a quienes lo rodeaban y dejando cada lugar mejor de como lo encontró.

Aun en sus últimos momentos, su fe permaneció firme. Sus últimas palabras fueron una oración a Dios, el testimonio más puro de la fe que sostuvo toda su vida.

Aunque hoy nuestros corazones sienten profundamente su ausencia, encontramos paz al saber que esta no es una despedida definitiva, sino una separación temporal. Su legado no se encuentra en las cosas que dejó, sino en las vidas que formó, en el amor que sembró y en la fe que nos enseñó a vivir.

El amor de su vida, Lucrecia Salazar, junto con sus hijos, Pablo Salazar, Francisco Salazar y María Lucrecia Salazar, así como sus adoradas nietas, Betzy, Leena y Olivia, continuarán honrando su memoria con el mismo amor, la misma fe y los mismos valores que él sembró en cada uno de ellos.

Te amaremos por siempre, Tata, hasta que nuestro Padre Celestial nos permita volver a estar juntos.
