Eduardo "Chico" Tellez

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road in Gurnee. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 5th at 11:00 AM at Most Blessed Trinity Parish, 450 Keller Ave in Waukegan. Interment will take place at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.

Chico was born on February 21, 1966, in Waukegan, IL to Antonio and Maria Tellez. He was a loyal employee for 37 years with Lakeside/Little City and truly enjoyed going to work every day.

Chico loved music and dancing and enjoyed gatherings with his family. He loved cheering on the White Sox and was a fan of Batman and the Three Stooges.

His joyful spirit and positive nature will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know and love him.

He is survived by his siblings Tony (Bonnie), Juve (Carmen), Jesse (Gloria), Mike (Esperanza), Trini, Maria, Xavier, and Rosalinda (Ramiro); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, uncles, aunts, and many special friends.

Chico was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Maria Tellez; nephew Isaac Alaniz, and other relatives who recently passed.
