Ellen will be greatly missed, we met on line doing our family genealogy. She even came to Columbus, Indiana and stayed a few days with me . We went to the Indianapolis library which was amazing to us both.. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Ellen could be counted on to attend Baha'i meetings at my house. Her supportive presence reassured me. Sometimes Laurie and Larry would join her, and her love for them was deep. I will miss Ellen's wry sense of humor and keenness. Rest in peace dear friend, and blessings to you as you journey in the next life.

My memories of dear Ellen..She was the first person I met from the Bahai community when I moved here 19 years ago. I had no place to stay when I moved up here from Indiana, and she took me in with open arms and I stayed with her for 3 weeks until my apartment was ready. Ellen is a Blessed soul..with a big heart! She is God's sweet angel now in Abha Kingdom. We will miss you greatly my dear friend. With all of our love - Trudie and Brenda Davis 💕

I was never able to meet Ellen personally. We met through an ad I placed in a genealogy magazine almost 30 years ago. We were distant cousins by marriage of her late husband Larrys' maternal line and my late mothers' paternal line, the Powell's who settled in Chicago, IL area and Waterford, WI in the mid 1840s. She was very helpful and kind enough to drive to Waterford cemetery and take photos of two sets of 3rd great-grandparents. She was such a kind and thoughtful person and I am sure her presence will be missed by many. I am just sorry I wasnt able to meet her in person.
