My dear sweet friend…Not sure why this surfaced today in my memories. Maybe you sent it?  Always the Joker, I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s three years since you left us Erich. My heart  is always with you and I thank God for the time He gave us!  Your sweet little granddaughter Esla is here now and Natalie and Jacob are so in love with their precious  baby.  I know Nati will tell her all about you and show her the pictures of you.   Someday we will all be together again and this time, I won’t let go. I love you my sweet son. Rest in Heavenly Peace.  Always thinking about you Er!! Erich, today we will say goodbye to you. I will never forget your dazzling blue eyes, your sweet smile and the man who was always happy to help anyone that needed help. You loved your life with Rebeca and the kids, Natalie, Bella and Nicky. I will keep you alive for them in memories and stories and answer any questions they ask about you. You are gone from this life way too soon but my heart knows we will see each other again in Heaven. Thank you for all that you gave us. I love you so much Erich and that will never ever change.  Rest In Peace and in Gods arms.

I never met you but knew of you. I am so sorry for this tragic loss.  It is beyond sad to lose a child, Mary. And I know that a siblings love is very strong. Prayers to the entire family at this very sad time.

So sad to hear about Erich.  We remember  coaching him in little league as well as room moms at Cumberland.  He was a little shy but always polite.  His images on Facebook showed him as a loving father and husband.  Our prayers go out to all of his family.

My heart is broken in a million pieces for  the loss of this wonderful man that God, in His infinite wisdom, created and sent to this earth 38 short years ago.  Erich was so very special, that God also decided to make him an Angel, far too soon for those he has left behind.  
Erich was my buddy, and despite the 30 year age difference, we forged a wonderful friendship….filled with laughter, jokes and fighting over loaves of bread at Stevens.  Rebeca just shook her head and laughed at us.  
I am beyond devastated for Rebeca, Nat, Bella, and Nick.  He was the most incredible husband and father, and it was oh so obvious to all that knew him…He was  their protector and biggest fan, and he was beyond adored and loved by them.  
May God wrap His Loving Arms around Erich and watch over his precious family as well as his Mom, brother, sister and Rebeca’s family who are all reeling from the loss.  

My favorite memories of Erich is when Erich, Dan, Matt,Zach, Jon, Stephan, and Patrick would have sleepovers at my house. They kept me busy especially breakfast, never made so many pancakes and french toast. Erich was the quiet one. Also dressing up for Halloween birthday parties.  These are memories I hold in my heart.
