
Frances P. Dannible (Palazzotto) went to meet our Lord and the Virgin Mary on 10/16/2015. She was a loving and eternally devoted wife to Dan Dannible, loving mother of David, Richard and John; very special Mother-in-law of Connie (Richard) Nee Stauber; cherished Nana of Dominic (Nicole), Katy (Andy) Leiting and Danielle. Great Nana to Kylie & Beckett Leiting and Madison Elise Dannible loving sister of Frank Palazzotto and fond friend and devoted caregiver Kathleen Burgess. She was always giving, loving and dedicated to her family and husband and had a special gift for making and keeping friends. She taught us all the meaning of love, laughter, fun and the importance of family. Our fondest memories will always be of the light and love she brought into the room at social and family gatherings. Her contagious smile and laughter will be deeply missed. Fran was born October 30, 1929 to the late Frank and Catheryn Palazzotto of Waukegan. She graduated from Waukegan High School in 1947 and was a lifelong resident of Waukegan (maintaining her Waukegan resident) while moving to Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania (Business) in 1980....eventually returning in 1990. She married C. Dan Dannible in 1950 and celebrated their 65 years of marriage in July. She was very productive in advancing her husband's business career (assisting in Under-Grad and Masters Degree research) and became an experienced and valued Corporate Wife. She travelled extensively with her husband (business and pleasure) to the major cities in America. Her favorite destinations were New York City, Pittsburg, the Ivy League Cities in the East and San Diego, Phoenix and Palm Desert in the West. She especially enjoyed Florence, Tuscany, Malta and Rome. The highlight of her travel was her visit to the Vatican. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and took great pleasure in telling and re-telling the many humorous family tales and special events of her ancestor's history and lives. She took up the game of golf at the age of 59, encouraged by Sandy Sun, and enjoyed playing in the Ladies League at Glen Flora CC with her favorite foursome, the late Joan Legat, Ann Abdula and Fran Fornero. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Kathryn Palazzotto, her Sister Madeline (Midge) Rosendahl, her Sister-in-Law Judy Palazzotto, her Daughter-in-Law Susan (David) Nee Munroe, her favorite Aunt and Uncle, Mamie DeGatano and Marty Palzet and Niece Kimberly Palazzotto. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception and St. Anastasia Churches in Waukegan and St. Paul's Church in Pennsylvania. She was involved in educational church activities and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Visitation and Mass will be at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave in Waukegan on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. with a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Ascension Cemetery.
