

Henry Joseph Lample Sr. (Harry) Passed peacefully at the Condell Hospital in Libertyville Illinois on December 17th 2015. He was the Beloved husband to Patricia Lample for 63 years. Loving Father to Harry (Clarice) Lample, Paul (Marcia) Lample, John (Kim) Lample, Mike, and Debbie. He was the proud Grandfather of Kelley, Emily, Joshua, Joey, May, Chris, Cody, and Katie. In addition it was an honor to be the Great Grandfather of Avali’i and Casey.
Harry was born in Philadelphia Pa. on September 23, 1934 to Harry & Eva Lample. After graduating from West Catholic HS for Boys he started his own photography business. He met the love of his life Pat on the Jersey shore and married shortly after in December of 1952. Besides raising the family with Pat he was very supportive of The Boy Scouts and her long career with this organization. Harry started working for Burroughs as a service technician. He was promoted and moved the family to Detroit Michigan for two years before taking a new job with Bell and Howell and moving the family back east to New Jersey. In 1969 he was promoted to Director of Service for Bell and Howell and moved the family to Deerfield. He later joined Oce as their Vice President of Service where he worked until retiring in 2000.
Never an individual to remain idle he started working for First Student as a bus driver. He took a lot of joy in taking care of the kids and watching them grow thru his 15 years of service with the company. The family’s where he worked became aware of his weakness for Oreo cookies and continually provided support with gifts.
