Herman Reyes Monton

Herman was born on October 16, 1950, in Cavite, Philippines. He was a retired Navy Veteran, Abbott Labs employee, Veteran Affairs and VA CALSTAR Instructor.

He was a beloved husband to Teresita Sampana Monton, a loving father to Alvin Sampana Monton, Terence Sampana Monton (Anna Fajardo Monton) and Jeremy Sampana Monton and an adoring grandfather to Jadalyn Teanna Monton.

A visitation for Herman will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A visitation will occur Monday, August 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Dismas Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish), 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Dismas Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish), 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087. An inurnment will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Ft. Sheridan National Cemetery in Highland Park, IL.
