Hilary Jeanne Nordin

Hilary grew up in Gurnee, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2008. After graduation she joined ATS Automation where she was a validation engineer for nine years. She was an accomplished artist who spent much of her time sketching and painting. Hilary loved animals and was a loving cat-parent of Missy and Milo. A nature-lover, Hilary enjoyed hiking and going for long, vigorous walks.

Hilary is survived by her parents, Paul and Leslie Nordin, her sister Heather Nordin, brother-in-law Justin Kring, her three nephews Ethan, Nolan and Declan Kring, and her partner Tim Hamilton. Her deep hearty laugh, glowing smile and bright face will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13 from 4-8pm at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road in Gurnee, IL. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 14 at Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel at 9900 Gross Point Road Skokie, IL 60076 at 11:30am followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery at 9900 Gross Point Road Skokie, IL 60076.
