Jacqueline Jones

Jacqueline I. Jones, age 87, of Kenosha formerly of Waukegan, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Jacqueline was born on October 2, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Lester and Mildred Wells and she graduated from Notre Dame High School in Chicago. She married Edmund Jones on June 14, 1958 in Chicago, IL. Jacqueline worked for many years with Dr. Mahesh Agarwal in Waukegan as his medical secretary. Edmund and Jacqueline were longtime members of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church in Mundelein, IL. In their retirement years, Edmund and Jacqueline spent their years at Saddle Brook Farms in Grayslake, IL. Jacqueline enjoyed bingo, cross-stitch, crocheting and her annual trips to Las Vegas with Edmund. She especially enjoyed her time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by, her parents and her husband.

Jacqueline is survived by, three children, Suzanne (fiancé Chuck), Kelly (Leo) and Steven (Natalie). Her grandchildren, Myranda (Keith), Tyler (Kelly), Danielle (Ryan), Chase (Laura), Gabrielle, Jeramy (Laura), Charlie (Stephanie), Jessica (Christian), William and Autumn (Steven). 14 great grandchildren; her sister, Geraldine; two half-siblings, Randy (Ofelia) and Pam as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Friday at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jacqueline’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
