James E. Stephens, 82, passed away on February 26, 2026. He was born on October 27, 1943 to Edward and Ruth Stephens. James was an Air Force veteran, serving his country with honor. He will be remembered with respect and gratitude by all who knew him.
James was a loving father to Michael and Vicki; beloved grandfather to Michael, Austin, Tyler and Ashley; and a dear uncle.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol Stephens.
Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031, on March 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
