Jeff was a friend of mine . He was also a friend of countless transportation workers. He was very honest and hard working. His numerous industry studies were insightful and helped move the industry forward. He was a devoted husband and proud father of his daughters. He is missed by all who knew him.

Jeff was a great man and had the ability to talk to anyone that he met. I have great memories of times on the Great Milw. Rd. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and hope you have memories of the beatiful times your family had together.

Although Jeff and I were both Milwaukee Roaders, I did not have the pleasure of meeting him until coming to First Union Rail. I found Jeff to be an intelligent, kind, gentle and soft spoken man, Jeff will be sorely missed by all of those whose lives he had touched. We now have an angel to watch over us. I am truly sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my daily thoughts and prayers.

Jeff has been a member of my family for all my life since we are cousins. We have lost touch over the years but the connect of heart and family always remains. My deepest sympathy to Randee, Emily and Amanda. And, special love and sympathy to Shelly.

I've known Jeff all my life as our mothers were best friends. I became best friends with his younger sister Rochelle and of course Jeff, like my older brother Bob, took every opportunity to give us a hard time. He made up for that by teasing or sharing a joke with us at other times. I was fortuate enough to see him a couple of years ago "back home". I will never forget his smile or the fact that he was so well likeed by so many during our school days. My heart goes out to you Rochelle, Randee, and girls. He will truly be missed!

I met Jeff when he was attending a family reunion in Thief River Falls. He was a very nice man and we had a very nice visit. I am sorry to hear this sad news.
