John F Burke

John "Frank" Francis Burke Age 75 of Twin Lakes, WI passed away June 22, 2011 at Highland Park Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1935 in Waukegan IL. John belonged to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waukegan and to the Northbrook Sports Club. He worked as an Arborist with Synnestvedt & Assoc. for over 30 years until his retirement in 1997. Avid interests included National Ski Patrol for 35 years, trap shooting, sailing and an expert fisherman. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon L. Burke; son Michael (Dana) Burke and his children Jack and William, and daughter Victoria Burke and her children Mercedes, Keverley, Tristan, and Kaylen; sisters Anne Dams and Patricia Rieger; and brother Thomas Burke. Preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held Tuesday June 28, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church 824 N. Lewis Ave. Waukegan, IL at 10am. Visitation will be held 5-8pm Monday June 27, 2011 at Marsh Funeral Home 305 Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL.
