Dear Pat and family, It is so hard to believe because last time I saw him and walked out to the car, we had the nicest talk. My boys and I are so sorry for your loss. It is never easy but be grateful you had him for 90 years!!!! Please know we are keeping all of you in our prayers. xoxoxoxo Wanda

John was a pleasure to know and an inspiring, participating member of the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Kiwanis Club. Last September during the Kiwanis Candy/Peanut Day fund raiser for children, John was actively engaged with people wanting to donate. He often spoke proudly and lovingly of his family, his joy of writing short stories, and playing his instruments. John will be missed-his memory lives on!
Our thoughts and prayers.

John was always a gentleman in every sense of the word. I enjoyed reading his short stories and listening to his life experiences. He was an engaged and dedicated Kiwanis member until his passing. He was very proud of his wife, children and grand-children. My condolences are with you all on his passing.
