Joseph Maldonado, age 92, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was born August 4, 1932 in Waukegan, IL to Amparo and Jose Maldonado. Joseph worked at Great America for 30 years as a painter. He is survived by his sister, Elsa (David) Spriggs of Walnut, CA; brothers John (Esperanza) of Rio Rico, AZ, Serafine (Maria) Maldonado of Gurnee, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Amparo Villicana and Jose Maldonado; and his brother Carlos (Ophelia) Maldonado.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service at 11:00 AM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
