A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5th, from 9:30 AM until time of funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Martha Catholic Church, 8523 Georgiana Ave, Morton Grove, IL, followed by interment at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
Joseph was born on November 1st, 1931, in Chicago, to Joseph and Gertrude (nee Ciciora) Usdrowski. In the 1950’s, he married the love of his life, Dorothy. When they weren’t working, the two would spend their time traveling, vacationing on cruises, and meeting their friends for their monthly dinner group. He was also part of his work bowling team and had an affinity for golf.
At home, Dorothy and Joseph would work on puzzles together. Joseph had a creative streak, dabbling in needlework and painting. He was quiet and reserved and enjoyed losing himself in a good movie or watching hockey or baseball.
Joseph is survived by his niece, Jennifer (John) Steinert; great-nieces Makayla, Emma, Hannah, and great-nephew Camden; and many beloved cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his parents, his wife Dorothy, and his sisters Delores Usdrowski and Diane (Donald) Sanders.
