Julio Cesar Castro

The Celebration of his life will be held on April 29th @ Marsh Funeral Home in Gurnee from 2pm – 6 pm.

Cesar, as we all called him, was born on April 4th, 1983 to Julio Castro and Rosa Salas. He went to school in the south side of Chicago his primary years but loved spending his summers and days off with his parents, Rudy & Teresa Avila of Melrose Park. He graduated from West Leyden High School in 2001.

Cesar is survived by his love, Valerie Santos, his brothers and sisters, Rudy Avila (Rosio & George Nuñez), Melissa Marquez (Edgar and Cyndi), Maribel Avila (Kenny & Melanie Hernandez, Idaly Ramirez), Mayra, Violet (Jacob), Guillermo Jr. (Roberto), Erika and Nicole; his parents Rudy & Teresa Avila, Julio Castro and Rosa Salas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, aunts, uncles and friends.

Cesar was a loving, generous, HAPPY, loud, energetic and charismatic individual. His contagious laughter could be heard everywhere. His bone crushing bear hugs will be missed. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten.
