Yoshi was a very good friend for over 30 years, we met in the early 1980 at Lincoln School in Waukegan. My family and I remember the homemade delicious sushi that Reiko and him will prepare for us. He was my lunch buddy during my time at Lincoln School, we will always remember his good sense of humor, his generosity and friendship. Our heartfelt condolences to Reiko and the family.

Yoshi was a great man and a wonderful neighbor of over 20 years. We will truly miss his stories, sense of humor and him smiling and waving whenever we saw him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Reiko and the entire Kobayashi family.

Yoshi was one of the nicest, most genuine people I ever known. We met as neighbors more than 45 years ago and have remained friends ever since. Our children were childhood friends and though we don't see them as often as we like they are in our thoughts and prayers. Our prayers to reiko and the entire family. Proud to have been his friend. RIP.
