A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd in Gurnee, IL.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7th starting at 1:00 PM at Lakeland Church, 440 N Hunt Club Road in Gurnee, IL.
Kim was born on July 10th in Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Beryl (Shirk) Baer. Kimberly lived a life of generosity, giving herself to others through friendship, volunteer work, and her career as a social worker. Her sense of humor and bright personality lit up a room, finding ways to love everyone around her.
Kim’s greatest joys were found in spending time with her family, doing genealogy research, and watching the Chicago Cubs.
Kim is survived by her husband, Kent, her son, Christian, and her daughter, Charity. However, her non-biological family goes on to encompass everyone her life touched.
