Leigh Alison Drinkwine

Leigh was a graduate of Warren THS and a retired secretary for Allendale Association. She filled her days being a very crafty lady, running her woodworking business DLD Woodcrafts and keeping an eye on her biggest enjoyment, her grandson Darrell James (DJ).

Leigh is survived by her daughter, Desiree and her grandson, DJ, her sisters Lynne, Leslie, Laurel and Amy, her brothers Art, Jr., Lance and Larry, her sisters-in-law Tina and Judy, brother-in-law Denny, and their extended families. She was preceded in death by her husband Darrell, her parents, 2 nephews, a niece and a brother-in-law.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 2:00-6:00pm at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. Interment will be held at North Shore Garden of Memories at a later date.

In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Marsh Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services.
