Linda was so kind and so strong. She was effusive in her love for her girls and always curious about my kids and well being. I missed her the minute left Lake Forest High School and only hope she is now at peace. She will be missed ...

I was fortunate to visit Linda on several occasions from ElderCARE, Linda agreed to help ElderCARE by being video taped several times. The last time was on one of her appointments to the doctor and we made a promotional tape with max, the puppy.

She was a wonderful person and she will be missed greatly.

My name is Roger Hartmann and I want to extend my deepest sympathy for the lost of your mother most recent. I also can vividly remember her pleasant smile and hello whenever our paths would meet during the school day. In helping her move into her home in Grayslake it was amazing how much she talked about and was so proud of her children.

I am lucky to be the mother-in-law of Brenda, Linda’s oldest daughter. Linda raised a beautiful, kind, gracious daughter who is a joy to our family. Linda had a wonderful sense of humor and a love of family that always made visiting fun and left me wishing Seattle and Chicago were closer. She was so proud of all her daughters and I know that Brenda, Jill and Katie will carry on her legacy of love of family and humor. I will miss Linda and the love she brought to our family.

I, too, always loved to visit with Linda. She always had a smile, and we could share a laugh or two before moving on to our other tasks for the day. What a special lady! My condolences to her family.

We would arrive in the "run off room" to drop off our material for photocopying and end up lingering, just so we could chat with Linda. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a funny anecdote to share. When I think of her, I picture us both laughing. She was so proud of her girls, too. My condolences to her family who will miss their mom and their grandma. I'm so sorry.
