When I remember Manuel I smile. We had some fun/funny times together at West Campus; he's missed by many. Continued prayers for family/friends. I've learned through my own loss of family, and friend that mourning is part of life's cycle, and so is joy. Reflecting back on our loved ones that have passed on will bring back a flood of fun-filled memories; even those challenging times will also reflect fond memories.

Manuel Perez was a well liked classmate, and we're all thankful for the time we had with him during our high school days.

Comfort to all!!!

I am so sorry to hear of Manny's passing. He was such a great guy. I can close my eyes and still hear his laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this trying time.

Manny was the coolest dude! Funny and sweet. He will be missed. Kids, know your dad was a rock n roll dude in high school!

The Perez Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I enjoyed the many years of friendship through grade school, junior high and high school with Manny. He was always there for me.

You & my brother Barney would always keep an eye on me @ Waukegan West. I will never forget the day you broke the typewriter in Typing with Minerva Colon & I. We laughed so hard. You never changed, you were always such a wonderful person and always greated me with such a loving manner, that's just the way you were. I know you are in Gods arms along with all of our family members that have passed. Our prayers are with your family during this time. God Bless!

Manny and I went to school together and he was always known as my big brother. I thought it was great when our kids became such good friends. Manny you will definately be missed. Your family will be in my and my childrens prayers. We love and will miss you very much.

Margo, Manny and Maddie- No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. You know your Dad loved you always. My deepest sympathies are with you all as you grieve. That big, happy, laid-back man will be sorely missed. With love, prayers and sympathy-

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of need. I used to be neighbors with Manny when I was younger. I would frequently baby-sit his kids. He was such a cool laid back guy. Every Friday around 615 I would knock on his door and ask if I could use is Notre Dame Starter jacket to wear to the roller rink...he never had a problem. :)

Rest well Manny.

Manny was a patient and good friend of mine at Vista Wound Care. He will be missed by many. My thought and prays are with the kids and his dad. Rest in peace now Manny.
