Marie M. Anderson

Marie M. Anderson, 83 Beautiful, Caring , Giving & Loving Wife, Mother, Grand Mother and Great Grand Mother, passed away on February 24, 2022 at her home with her Family by her side. Marie was born on July 29, 1938 in Chicago Il to Harry & Ruby Blevons. Marie loved crafting, creating Beautiful Quilts to knitted sweaters and slippers for the kids. Mom also liked going to the casino and trying her Lady Luck!

Marie married Claude A. Anderson on June 22, 1957 This is an ending to a beautiful Love Story. Marie had 5 Children, Frank, Gary, Dale, Roger and her Baby/Best Friend Lisa. Marie had 13 Grand Children and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Marie worked for Illinois State Tollway where she retired and Relocated to Florida where she then Spoiled All Her Grand Children from going to Disney World, swimming to macaroni and cheese eating contest. 😊

Marie was preceded in death by her Father Harry Blevons, Mother Ruby Blevons Husband of 65 years Claude, 2 Brothers Donald & Bud and her sister Audrey and her grandson Jason.

Mom/Grand Ma,

A light from our Family is gone

A voice we Loved is Stilled

A place is vacant in the home

Which never can be filled

We have to mourn the loss of one

We would’ve loved to keep

But God who surely Loved her Best

Has finally made her sleep

After a lifetime of her love and joy

And music to fill our ears

God leaves these wondrous memories

To help us through our tears.
