Mark Alan Ofenloch

Mark “Marky” Alan Ofenloch, 29, was taken from his family, friends and loved ones too soon on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Mark was born May 21, 1987 and was raised in Waukegan and Gurnee. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from NIU. Mark worked for Greens By White in Lake Forest, Engineering for Kids in Antioch and Waukegan Genesee Theater. Mark had many loves and hobbies. He was a member of 3 brothers Theater and Lee’s Tae Kwon Do.

Mark entertained us all with his original music, sketch comedy and comedic wit. He entertained at open “Mic nights”. Family was most important to Mark, he loved his brothers, Darrick and Axel and family dogs, Henry, Frankie and Ernie. He also loved nature and had a brilliant scientific mind.

He is survived by his parents; David and Paula Ofenloch; brothers, Darrick and Axel; maternal grandmother, Nancy Vaseloff; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Shirley and Robert Ofenloch; maternal grandfather, Dennis Vaseloff and uncle Gerald Ofenloch.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm and Friday from 9:30am to 10:30am at Marsh Funeral Home. Funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 508 Grand Ave. Waukegan Illinois, at 11am on Friday, April 7, 2017. Burial at Ascension Cemetery.
