I was blessed with the opportunity to be Ken and Mary’s flower girl. I adored both My cousin Kenny and Mary. I thought Mary was so gorgeous and felt like a little princess with all the big pretty ladies. Mary was so sweet to me. When she showed me her ring I let out a big wow making Mary giggle.

Mary also invited me to her first baby shower which was also my first one, at 7 years old. She made me feel like one of the ladies, not just a kid!

We moved away and I didn’t get to enjoy being her friend as an adult, but she sure knew how to make a child feel special. I am certain that is why all her children and grandchildren are so sweet and confident (I only see them on Facebook since we are so far apart geographically).

Love and gentle virtual hugs to all the family and friends of Mary.
